Trick or Treat 2012

I've been so looking forward to Trick or Treat but things didn't go as planned. I planned to attend 3 Trick or Treat events but we were only able to join one at Abreeza last Oct.28. We also planned to join SM Lanang Premier and an exclusive subdivision on the 31st but my son and husband both got sick.Maybe it's the universe trying to tell me that one Trick or Treat is enough!? :) Anyhoo we still had fun at the Abreeza event and got lots of candies. It was only me and my son without our official photographer  daddy-o because he had a wedding to cover. We met with Kulay's cousins so we weren't entirely alone. So here's my son's second Trick or Treat!

The Harry Potter Pose! Wingardium Leviosa!
He refused to wear the glasses and broke it.
The not so Serious Harry Potter Pose!

With Tita Shirley and Harry Potter Running around the mall.

With Mommy Jazz and JD as Little Firefighter. Kulay and the cousins (Tony Parker KIddo, Cinderella Ali and Race Car driver Sly.

My son ate 4 lollipops and 2 candies that day. Ooops! I am such a bad parent. I ate twice that number of candies. I am really a bad parent! :) I am looking forward again to Halloween next year as my son will be a bit older and he might have some preference about his costume and he might be able to appreciate the Halloween activities more.
A belated Happy Halloween Everyone hope you all had fun!

  2. Trick or treat is becoming a trend here now in the country, for three nights kids were knocking on our door with scary costumes and make-up to trick or treat and we had readied goodies for them too. :) next month it will be carolers.

  12. it's alright to let the kids eat sweets, just teach them to brush thoroughly and drink plenty of water after. thanks for sharing your halloween fun. your son is so cute as Harry Potter. :)

    1. HP costume is really quite easy...the scarf is the tricky part because i had it crocheted but I guess there are similar scarves for sale in malls :)

  14. I posted this in my FB and no offense meant to those who celebrate halloween. We don't take part on it because hubby said it's of the devil.
No matter what you think of halloween, know that it is the very highest satanic holy day. Halloween has never been a Christian holiday, and it has no place in the life of a born again Believer in JESUS CHRIST. In fact, it is an abomination to God, and we should take our stand firmly against it.

    1. I respect your opinion. We are not celebrating Halloween as abomination to God, the tradition and meaning have changed through the years. The same thing with Christmas which also have Pagan Origins. I believe any holiday or event that gathers family and friends together to bond and have fun is worth celebrating.thanks for sharing your opinion though :)

  15. I so wanted Bella to experience trick or treating this year but just like you it didn't happen as planned. I hope next year we would be able to joinn you guys.

By the way, sana nakapag toothbrush ng bonggang-bongga at naka inom ng maraming tubig that day. LOL Sigurado kung nakasama si Bella baka doble pa sa dami ng candies na nakain ni kulay ang mauubos nya. LOL
