Abreeza Food Tour: Go Nuts Donuts

The first stop for our Abreeza Ayala Food Tour was snacks at Go Nuts Donuts located at the park entrance. We were supposed to meet at 10:30Am but we arrived late, sorry guys. When we got there we started off immediately with the interview with Sir Erwin, their Operations Manager. He gave as pamphlets and introduced us to their bestselling donuts, Amazing Glaze, Rocky Road, Pastillas de Leche, Boston Bavarian and Choco Frost. My personal favorite was the Pastillas de Leche but I chose the Choco Frost because it was calling my name! The white chocolate bar topping was teasing me. Mike tried the Bavarian Boston not because it also called his name but because it was the only donut left haha!

Note taking :D

At first glance you will easily assume that the donuts are too sweet but you’ll be surprised with your first bite because it is just the right amount of sweetness which leaves you craving for more. We were also served their house blended Ice tea which is the perfect quencher for the donuts.
Go Nuts is proudly Pinoy owned by the Lagdameos and opened for business last December 11, 2003 in Manila with much success. I remember when I visited Manila, there were always long queues at their outlets. Through the years they opened more branches nationwide and finally last June 18 they opened at Abreeza Ayala Mall Davao. This marks the beginning of a 5-store expansion in the Davao area. The opening of Gonuts in Davao posed a dilemma for Davaoenoes…Unsa na lang daw ang ilang ipasalubong kung mag-adto sila ug Manila? (What can they bring back as presents when they’re on a trip to Manila?) Kidding aside, Davaoenoes are very happy that Go Nuts is finally here. But let’s not be too happy because they have more in store for us, soon they will also be serving pizza shaped donuts and cupcakes too! Wow!  I am looking forward to that and wish they will have a theater type outlet here like the one in Bonifacio Global City in Manila where you can actually see how the donuts are prepared.

With this group shot we ended our tour with Go Nuts. Thank you Sir Erwin and Go Nuts! We most certainly are nuts over your Donuts :D

Fun Fact: Donuts are fried not baked
